Match Report
The Seniors had a lot to live up to after the Reserves performance. It was a tough day on field and evenly matched with effort. Ange Snowy Snowden had a clean tackle out the front of goals to set her up for a goal, that took Old Geelong by surprise. The celebration was one to remember. Play of the day winner Rosie not only took a footy to the face, but she then had 2-3 efforts following that in a great show of strength and ability. The rucking team of Palombi and Milly worked hard throughout the game getting the ball out to the mids. As always the Renegade back line did a great job, and the forward line is showing signs of being very dangerous in the next few rounds.
Thank you to team managers, coaches and volunteers who make the games happen, and also our supporters. Having you there cheering us on is always a win.
Both teams take a well-earned rest over the long weekend and will be back at home against Old Camberwell on June 16th where they’ll be looking to get back on the winners list.
