Match Report
Captain Claire Woodhouse led the Seniors into battle with the Monash Blues for the second match of the afternoon. She played a stunning game of football that created opportunities to move the ball down to the forward half. Unfortunately the Renegades just could not convert throughout the game, but came close a number of times.
The backline fought tirelessly as always and held their ground to keep the score down in the first half of the game. Midfield were quick and worked hard to move the ball down toward the scoring end. Tahlia Hayes continued her form from last weekend and put her body on the line to keep the Blues at bay. Nicola Crisp caused havoc on the wing being a relentless defense to her opponents.
All in all though the win was not there this weekend, the Seniors showed they are tough, fair and getting ready to come up against Old Geelong away next weekend.
