On a cracking day for footy, the Battle of Brunswick was a low scoring and hard fought affair played in good spirit. The Bulls came out full of energy and got an early goal.

Arlen came out strong and played well in the ruck and at ground level getting hands to the ball first. Jane repelled their forward attacks and enjoyed the contest playing on a former Reno. Mel Everett, Elle and Stasi attacked the footy hard all day.

We gave ourselves great opportunities and moved the ball well out of the contests however couldn’t quite find the time and space in front of goal to score.

Full credit to North Brunswick applying the pressure all day resulting in their first win of the season.
