Match Report
Despite the ominous forecast the sun was shining as the Ressies took to the park against Yarra Old Grammarians, ready to bounce back from last week’s defeat.
With great support from the local crowd and the Prems on the fence some new faces Cass and Em were welcomed out in the green and purple for the first time. Returning from injury, Dani looked dangerous up forward and kicked a great goal. Welcome back!
Eliza was taking them on at every opportunity and busting through tackles whilst Goodsey and LJ tackled and chased hard all day.
The pressure around the ball was fantastic, and all worked hard defensively against the wind.
Claire was a fierce competitor across half back who was always supporting her teammates and frequently got the crowd excited when they knew one of her signature bumps was imminent.
The clouds rolled in as the final siren sounded, the Renegades had played a great team game for a hard fought and well deserved 10 point win.
