Match Report
It was a characteristic day for local footy; freezing, blustery, muddy and two neighbourly clubs meeting again for a second dance. The last time we played each other it was hot, sunny and a tough day for the Labor party and the Renegades.
Today was different. The Ressies came out and played wonderful footy from the first bounce. Highlighted by quick movement, lots of talk, converting forward opportunities and were just really enjoying playing for each other.
We kicked 7 goals in the first half before the driving rain bogged things a little. But the commitment never wavered.
Loz and Goodsey were leading the charge around the ball. While Amy D, Em T, Pup, and Mel E were clicking well up forward. Jane, usually marshaling the backline, was relishing the opportunity up forward as well.
Schmidty and Morgs were ensuring the backline were set-up well behind the ball and repelled any of North Brunswick’s advances all day.
