Match Report
On a proper winter’s day the Prems took to a soggy Gillon where the rain was coming in sideways.
After a slow start with 3 points scored in the first quarter the Renos kicked it up a gear in the second and and started peppering the goals. Flick was moved to CHF and dominated, setting many a player up for shots on goal.
A 5 goal second term set up a healthy lead. Much like Eddie Betts’ pocket we now have Kelly’s Corner where Dungate score 3 ripper goals in the difficult conditions.
It was great having Andie back in the middle who along with Skates and Woodhouse made clearance after clearance from the middle.
Pete’s roast rolls are always a hit at home games and they went down a treat in the cold weather.
After 3 quarters standing in the cold at full back Pia was moved to the forward line to kick a goal, Coach Leonie is still working out who was more excited Pia or Ned.
At the conclusion of the game the scoreboard read 74 to 0. The ressies and our supporters joined in in the circle for a rousing rendition of the song after two awesome games of footy.
Exciting times as both teams are in the hunt for a finals campaign.
A wonderful day by all.
