Match Report
For their first rematch for the season the Prems lined up against Mazenod on a luxuriously soft, yet very short Central Reserve.
JB got the Renos on the scoreboard with a magnificent Eddie Betts-esque banana in the first quarter which got everybody up and cheering.
Woodhouse playing a captain’s game was rewarded a free for holding the ball, not unusual except for the fact that she was on her knees as the player came past and somehow managed to jump from her knees to take them down.
Wolfie played her heart out in the ruck and was well supported by Snowy in the middle whilst Crispy was dominant on the wing.
The backs led by Pia repelled entry after entry only letting one goal through. Morgs played a dashing game off half back, breaking lines and taking Mazenod on.
Our tackling pressure was fantastic in a hard fought game of congested footy. Everyone walked off the field exhausted yet elated with the win when the final siren sounded.
We’re looking forward to the bye round for some well earned rest after a couple of tough weeks on the park.
