The Brunswick Renegades will be joining the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) in 2017 as the VWFL is being replaced with community league competitions across the state.

For many months now the Brunswick Renegades have been in discussions with the VAFA regarding this potential move and with the VWFL now officially ceasing to manage the women’s competition it presents as a very exciting time for the VAFA to begin to grow their women’s competition and the Renegades will be involved from the start.

The move to the VAFA also means that the Renegades will be playing in the same competition as the men’s (Brunswick NOBSPC) which will provide opportunities to further integrate our teams through match scheduling and on/off field activities.

If you have any questions regarding the above please contact Kim Hennessy, Mellissa Kavenagh or a member of the Renegades committee.

Before Christmas, the Renegades are holding preseason training every Wednesday evening at Clifton Park West, Victoria St (across from the Gillon.) Visit the team’s Facebook page for more details.
