Notice of the Club's Annual General Meeting

Dear Members and Supporters,

It may be the off-season but there is plenty going on at Brunswick NOBSPC and Brunswick Renegades as we all gear up for the VAFA 2017 season. Read on for all the updates and notice of the Club’s AGM to be held on 28 November.

Brunswick Renegades Join the VAFA!

Yes, that wasn’t a mistake in the opening sentence, the Renegades are joining the inaugural VAFA Women’s competition after the VWFL was disbanded last week. We welcome them to the Amateurs and look forward to the Renegades adding to the Club’s rich history in Australia’s premier community football league.

The Renegades are also growing to two teams next year and are now recruiting new players. Pre-season training has commenced on Wednesdays at Clifton Park West at 6.30pm and the turn-out last week was tremendous.

The wonderful opportunity to coach the Renegades (firsts and seconds) in 2017 still exists and expressions of interest should be sent to brunswickrenegades@outlook.com.

It is opportune to also announce that Leonie Kroehnert is the new Sponsorship Manager of the whole of the Club and has already kicked things off by securing the Victoria Hotel in Victoria Street as our pub sponsor. Brunswick NOBSPC Coaching Appointments and Season Launch

The NOBSPC coaching panel has been finalised with Michael Giansiracusa and Sam Bishop coming on board as assistants to Luke Mahoney. Last season’s senior assistant Paul Greenham will wind back his commitments to match-day only, when he will join Matt Roberts again. Dene Rodger returns as fitness coach.

This Wednesday at Gillon Oval we are holding a “2017 Season Launch” starting at 6.30pm when we will be introducing our new assistant coaches and welcoming new recruits. All players encouraged to bring a mate to join us for a BBQ and a drink as the Club’s plans for pre-season and the season ahead will be outlined.

Pre-season training starts at Clifton Park West on 21 November at 6.30pm and in the lead up to Christmas will be held on Mondays and Thursdays.

Notice of the Club’s Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of North Old Boys St Patrick’s College Ballarat Amateur Football Club Inc. (trading as Brunswick NOBSPC and as Brunswick Renegades) (the Club) will be held at the Social Club, A.G. Gillon Oval, Pearson Street, Brunswick on Monday 28 November 2016 at 7:30pm.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider the following:

To confirm the minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting held on 16 November 2015.
To receive from the Committee reports upon the transactions of the Club for the year ended 30 September 2016.
To elect officers of the Club and ordinary members of the Committee.
To consider any special business of which notice has been given.
