Dear Member and Supporters
At the annual general meeting held on Monday night it was resolved to change the official name of the Club to Brunswick Football Club Incorporated and to adopt the new rules that had been proposed, which incorporated the changes arising from the feedback we received from members.
This is a significant moment for our Club. While we remain conscious of our history and heritage, especially the 55 years the Club was known as North Old Boys, we see an exciting future in fully embracing the fact we are a club for the whole of the community.
Also of significance was the election of Kim Hennessy and Jarryd Browne (pictured above) as the Club’s first Co-Presidents. Kim is our first female President as well. Congratulations to them both. Tim Purdey stepped down as President after 4 years in the role but will be our Secretary in 2018.

We wish to thank those retiring from the Committee, being Mal Cole, Graeme Ford, Garry Foulds, John Glossop, Regina Helly, Dominic Perrone and Christian Ryan. While he has not fully retired, special thanks must also go to Bernie Skahill for returning to the role of treasurer in 2017 and doing a brilliant job.
We will keep members of further developments with the official change of name and the adoption of a new single logo for the Club.
