Current Brunswick NOBs player Daniel Mott has been named Calder Cannons best player in Rounds 10 & 11 and was also named in the TAC CUP team of the week for the same rounds. Daniel played over 100 games for Brunswick Junior Football Club before transitioning to senior football with Brunswick NOBs in 2017. Daniel has played 4 games for Brunswick NOBs in 2018 and next expects to play in Round 14 against Hampton Rovers at Gillon when Calder has the bye.

Daniel and his former BJFC team mates are beneficiaries of the pathway created by the Senior Club committee back in 2008/2009 to form a local junior football team for boys and girls in the Brunswick area. The BJFC now has 15 individual teams and over 330 registered players so expect to see more players like Daniel transitioning to Brunswick NOBs and Brunswick Renegades in the years to come.
