Proposal for Community Partnerships Manager
A paid position for a person working for Brunswick NOBSPC, BJFC and the Renegades as “One Club”.
Purpose of the position:
- To have a person working for the three clubs to ensure coherency and consistency between them in their approach to members, supporters, sponsors and the local community.
- To capitalise and build on the existing bases of the three clubs in raising funds for, and awareness of, grassroots amateur football for men, women and kids in Brunswick.
- To lessen the load on volunteers in managing relationships between the three clubs and their members, supporters, sponsors and the local community.
Responsibilities:
- To work with the clubs in developing general and specific membership and sponsorship proposals, including gathering information on existing members, supporters and sponsors.
- To invite local businesses to be new sponsors.
- To initiate and build relationship with local community organisations and schools.
- To assist in writing content for and the co-ordination of advertising campaigns, as well as newsletters to members and updates to websites.
- To ensure delivery of benefits to sponsors.
- To assist in arranging events for sponsors and members.
Salary:
- To consist of a retainer to cover the management of memberships and sponsorships for the three clubs, including re-signing existing sponsors, and a commission on all new sponsors signed by the Community Relationships Manager.
- Amount of the retainer and the rate of commission to be negotiated.
