NEWS

It’s been a cracking start to 2015 season with big numbers – with 50 players showing up throughout the first 3 weeks. This includes a quite a few new faces who we are hoping will commit to NOBSPC very soon.

We also have a few players that have verbally agreed to play with us, however they are either O/S or interstate until the New Year. We will be formally announcing those players as soon as possible.

There are a number of other players that we are currently trying to attract to the club, they are looking for some assistance in finding employment, so if you have ANY leads in ANY industry please let us know.

SAVE THE DATE – MARCH 20-21-22. After a successful weekend at the start of 2014, we are once again heading to Warrnambool to participate in the Preseason Cup. We will be encouraging players to try and leave work a bit earlier this year, so we can have an activity planned for the Friday night. More info to come.

 

TRAINING

As stated earlier, there has been a great turnout so far. Stay tuned for info about prizes up for grabs for showing improvement and consistency.

This week-

Wednesday 3rd December 

Princes Park (Carlton Footy Club) 6.30pm.

Run, warm up and AFL 9s. The blokes that were there last week loved it.

 

Next week-

Monday 8th December

Gillon Oval 6.15pm

AGM is also on this night. Players wishing to go to this should try to get to training early.

Snapbacks will be avaliable to pickup and/or buy.

 

Wednesday 10th December

Gillon Oval 6.15pm.

Will head over to the pub afterwards for a $17 parma and pot.

One of the sessions next week will actually be ON Gillon Oval.

 

**Freo/Ron will provide a running program for players over the Christmas Period and we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday 28th Jan for the first training back of 2015. We will be in touch via email/Facebook to keep you updated in January – there will most likely be a running/AFL9s group meeting before the 28th to get the legs ticking over.

 

MERCH

Hats and Singlets will be available on Monday nights at Gillon Oval. It is expected that if possible you wear NOBPSC related gear to training.
