Pride Round was a powerful day for both clubs, with the Renegades honoured to join the Muggars in celebrating inclusion, community and connection. The atmosphere was electric, and milestone energy lifted the group early as Emily Molnar and Siena Jacques ran out for their 50th games - two players who set the tone with composure and grit.

The Renegades lineup looked unique this week for their clash with Fitzroy at the historic W.T. Peterson Oval. With much of the leadership group unavailable it was Shady, Kiah and Goodesy who stepped up to share captaincy for the day. The inclusion of three Youth Girls players (Ainsley, Isla and debutant Polly) demonstrated the strength of a growing pathway from Juniors to the Senior Women’s team.

A day for celebration at the club started with a jumper presentation for the first juniors to play up in the senior Renegades side. Ainsley and Isla received their jumpers in the club room and were warmly welcomed into the team. Celebrating the football pathway from Auskick, to juniors and up to seniors at Brunswick, auskickers ran out with the team at the start of the game.

Wet, muddy conditions set the scene for the Renegades against top of the ladder De La Salle for Meg and Trel's joint 50th. The game was a tough, contested slog with one percenters the highlight of the day with hard spoils, courageous smothers, and great battles all around the ground trying to get the ball forward and nullify De La Salle's efforts.

The Renegades showed massive improvement from round 1 with a solid display of marking and kicking leading to some beautiful passages of play. We outplayed Hawthorn in marking which was even noted by the opposition coach but unfortunately the score didn’t reflect the quality of the game.
