The Brunswick Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Tim O’Dwyer as the new senior coach of our men’s team for 2020. Tim has a long football CV including junior representative teams as well as over 250 senior games at his home club of Barooga and more recently at Colbinabbin Football Club. Tim has also been a senior assistant coach for the last few years at Colbinabbin as well as assistant coach of St. Kevin’s APS school team, where he is a teacher.

Co-president Jarryd Browne said of Tim:

“The coaching subcommittee were incredibly impressed with Tim’s presentation and preparation that had gone into it and felt he was a great fit for the demographic of our senior men’s team. He is young and energetic and will create a fun, exciting and professional learning environment where our players can develop into the best possible people and players, which we felt was important. We also felt that with the strength of the juniors coming through to the senior ranks Tim’s ability to be a clear and effective communicator across a broad range of the community would be a great asset to the club. We welcome Tim, his wife Alannah and his family to the Brunswick Football Club and look forward to an exciting 2020.”

Preseason times and a chance to meet the coach will be posted through our social media pages, please keep a look out for more information.
