Our motto for this year is: “UNFINISHED BUSINESS”

I hope you are all well and enjoying the racing season.

I have just returned from a “Study Tour” with Brendan McCartney (assistant coach of Geelong) in which we visited the Fulham & Everton Soccer Clubs who play in the premier league. We also had the pleasure of meeting up with Tim Cahill and spending time with him watching Everton play Manchester United last Saturday which was a wonderful sporting experience.

The reason for the “Study Tour” was to improve my knowledge as a coach and hopefully this will enable all of us to achieve our goal of a premiership this year.

Our coaching staff for this year with be:

  • Senior Coach: Terry Scanlon
  • Assistant Coach: John Rush
  • Assistant Coach (Playing): Matt Keown
  • Under 19s Coach: Sam Chesire
  • All specialist coaches from last year have recommitted: Mark Hannebery, Stephen Hibbert, Paul Kearney, John Noonan
  • Fitness/Rehab Coach: Brendan O’Sullivan
  • Chairman of Selector: Trevor Fell
