The Club is excited to announce the coaches of the Brunswick Renegades premier and development teams. Guiding the premier division team will be Dan Marshall, who was our interim head coach in 2016 and has now committed to the role on a permanent basis, while Andy Ryan will coach the development team. Both bring considerable experience and enthusiasm to the roles.

Dan was a talented player who was drafted to Carlton after playing for Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup. He spent the 1996 and 1997 seasons at the Blues without playing a senior game, then moved to Frankston Dolphins in the VFA. He later went on to play and coach successfully at Frankston YCW, Frankston Bombers and Highett, including four premierships.

Andy hails from Sydney and came to Australian Rules late, playing 54 games in his early 20s before his knees gave out, which led him to coaching the Newtown Swans junior team for five seasons, including two premierships. He has also worked with the Sydney Swans Academy and completed his Level 2 coaching accreditation.

We are certainly lucky to have two coaches of such pedigree and calibre.
