Attendees- Alex Kemp, Margaret O’Toole, Janet Tonkin, Gerard Joss, Peter Hevey, Greg O’Toole, Domenic Perrone, Mal Cole, Trevor Ludeman, Daniel Tonkin, Terry Scanlon, John Laidlaw, Brendan Sheehan, Tony Egan, Michael Barker, Graham Tonkin, Frank Pascoe, Colin Peasnell and Tim Purdey. Apologies- Harry Leigh, Pat Leigh, Paul Randles, Greg Barry, Andrew Nelson.
Opening address – Trevor Ludeman welcomed all in attendance and presented the Annual Report and spoke briefly about the report before questions were taken in response to the report. Coaches reports Terry Scanlon and Colin Peasnell spoke briefly about their individual reports.
Treasurer report: Brendan Sheehan presented the treasurer’s report and spoke briefly about this report prior to questioning. Moved Peter Hevey seconded Mal Cole to accept the Annual Report as presented. Unanimously passed. Moved Peter Hevey seconded Trevor Ludeman to induct Scott Sleep, Dan Tonkin and Adrian Trimboli as life members as they had represented the club in over 200 games.
Unanimously passed. Moved Trevor Ludeman and seconded Peter Hevey that Honorary Life Membership shall be bestowed upon Terry Scanlon for being involved with the football club dating back to 1974, not only as a player, but a premiership coach (A Grade 1982) and filling other roles including President and now the current seniors coach. A commitment to the club for 34 years.
Unanimously passed. Colin Peasnel was present with framed photographs as a thank you for his hard work with the Under 19s over the last 2 years. The 2008 committee was thanked for their work in this year and a complete spill occurred and nominations for the 2009 committee were called for. President- Trevor Ludeman nominated T. Scanlon Seconded P. Hevey. No other nominees. Vice President- Gerard Joss Nominated M. Cole Seconded C. Peasnel.
No other nominees. Secretary- vacant at the moment, M. Cole to continue until replaced and will assist in the registration of new players throughout preseason. Treasurer- Alex Kemp Nominated Brendan Sheehan seconded M Cole.
No other nominees. Committee- B. Sheehan. T. Purdey, P. Hevey, D. Perrone, B. Watt, C. Peasnel. Trevor thanked everyone for their attendance and the meeting was closed at 8:30PM. Mal Cole Secretary.
